Being an intelligent individual with great personality and great characteristics can take you very far in life. Good character can be found in individuals who are humble, and have a giving heart. A person with a giving hear will assist others and never look for anything in return. For my service project I purchased a set of gloves, socks, and hat for Luke. I know that some people may have a rough start to getting back on their feet, that’s why I never had a problem with giving to the less fortunate or those in need. This community service project has made me extremely grateful and appreciative of the things I have in life. It has made me realize that I can make a difference in someone’s life by simply giving them something that can easily be taking for granted. Although I didn’t give the items to Luke personally, I am sure he was greatly appreciative of them. I felt very honored and proud of myself for doing something for someone. Knowing that my gifts would give Luke the proper attire for the winter made me extremely joyful. I believe this kind jester reminded Luke that he’s not alone, and that there are still some kind hearted individuals who care about the well-being of others. This project served as an eye opener for me, showing me that there is work to be done to help serve those in need. This project played a major impact on my educational path, because it reminds me of the people who invested their time and effort into me It gives me great peace knowing that there is one less person that has to go without this winter. Although I wasn’t able to volunteer somewhere for my service project, I am happy that I can still help somebody from miles away.
